Demonstrating Hope –  He Who Has the Most Hope Has The Most Influence – People love this quote and love having the most influence, but that leaves questions, “How do those around you know you have the most hope?”  How can they tell?  When you demonstrate hope and put hope on display, there are 4 areas that are evident to everyone around you:

  • What Is Coming Out of Your Mouth? – Proverbs says we have the power of life and death in our tongue, meaning our words either foster life or death.  What you talk about and what you give life to by your speech either increases hope or fosters despair.  It is up to you what you want to generate.
  • God is Good – God is better than we think…  so it’s time to change the way we think about Him.  Nothing is impossible with Him!
  • The Power of the Testimony – “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” –Revelation 19:10. When we testify about what Jesus has done it creates an expectation of hope and an atmosphere saying, “Jesus, come do it again!”.
  • Gratitude Paves the Way – Whatever captures your attention sets the agenda in your life.  Whatever overshadows you is what you release.  When you focus on what you don’t have, you never end up in a good place.  Initiating your thoughts from a position of lack keeps you there.  Initiating your thoughts from gratitude and thankfulness to the Father keeps you filled with hope.
