The Mission of Co-Labor Ministries is revival—the personal, organizational, regional, and global expansion of God’s Kingdom through His presence.
Co-Labor Ministries was started as a catalyst for helping people everywhere discover their destiny as powerful men and women of God.
The works of God are not limited to revival or church meetings. They are available in abundance, and a part of everyday living, for the believer and nonbeliever alike.
Blake and Linda Schellenberg are the Founders and Senior Leaders of Co-Labor Ministries. Together they serve a growing number of churches, ministries, and business leaders that have partnered with them for revival. This revival network has crossed denominational lines, building relationships that empower believers to walk in freedom, destiny, and power.
Heaven is Blake and Linda’s model for life and ministry. This way of thinking has brought Blake and Linda into a deeper understanding of the phrase, “on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Jesus lived with this principle by only doing what He saw His Father doing. Learning to recognize the Holy Spirit’s presence follow His lead empowers them to do the works of Jesus, destroying the works of the devil.
Healing and deliverance must become the regular expression of this gospel of power once again.
Co-Labor Ministries was started as a catalyst for helping people discover their destiny as powerful men and women of God. The works of God are not limited to revival or church meetings but are available and a part of the “normal” Christian Life. It is fair to say that Co-Labor Ministries, and their partners, have embraced Heaven’s theme for life and ministry.
Blake and Linda are part of a “new breed of revivalists” where the line between business and ministry is blurred. While Blake works as President for a commercial insurance brokerage headquartered in Portland, OR and Linda is intimately involved with women’s prison ministry, they both lead the Co-Labor SOZO team as well as travel, minister, and speak to groups pursuing breakthrough into a radical Kingdom lifestyle. They have three grown children.
Blake Shellenberg
We believe that there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all creation. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be the eternally self-existent One being manifested as: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God, and the rule of faith and practice for all believers in Christ, and that the Scriptures along with the power of the Holy Spirit are the primary means of guidance and strength for all Christians.
We believe that humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.
We believe that the Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. He is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins. He died and was buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and His people. He is “true God” and “true man.” The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy, sin, lies, sickness, poverty, and torment.
We believe we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister supernaturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses.
We believe the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His church the ordinances of baptism and communion.
We believe the Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and advance His Kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, discipling all peoples, and baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.
We believe in the ever increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming bride: His church. Heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
I also realized how much God not only loved me, but wanted to celebrate me just for being His son.
